About me
I am a costumer and sewist currently based in Dublin. I have completed trainee work in theatre and film (both modern and historical), and thrive in a creative, hands-on environment.
I am passionate about social history and have completed several personal historical costume projects that focus mainly on exploring the lives of working class women through clothing. Through using historically authentic patterns and techniques, I have developed skills in historical dressmaking and corsetry.
I am also an experienced fibre artist and work on projects of all scales, from aran jumpers to crochet lace, and enjoy other crafts such as beading and polymer jewellery making.
